Sundail	The sundial is an instrument used since time too. It uses the shadow cast by a gnomon or style on a surface with a scale to indicate the position of the Sun in the diurnal motion.
water clocks	The water clocks dating from ancient Egypt and used especially during the night when sundials lost its usefulness.
hour glass	The hour glass serves to measure a certain time lapse from the time when the sand starts to fall, and requires only the potential energy of gravity for operation.
Pendulum Clock	This clock uses a pendulum as its way of measuring time. Until the 1930s, the pendulum clock was the most accurate device for measuring time.
Digital Watch	The invention, in 1956, digital watch was a great revolution in the field of watch manufacturing because it got much cheaper and accurate than mechanical clocks functioning.
